Hello everyone, I want to first off thank all my fans and friends and family who reached out with emails, phone calls, flowers, cards and well wishes. It made me feel great to know how many people care about me. So a huge thank you to all of you! I am doing physical therapy for my leg, and finally walking on it, although it hurts and sometimes feels very strange. But that is to be expected of course. The body is amazing how it heals. My doctor is pleased with the progress and I will see him again soon for another follow up. The temple wound is almost completely healed. Regarding my schedule, I will be going to Winnipeg for the KISS EXPO and party, (Nov 1 and 2nd) and to the Grand Funk Railroad show in Florida (Nov 8th) and the KISS EXPO in Toronto (Nov 9th). Looking forward to them all. My doctor was fine with the trips that kept me away from home for only a few days, but did advise against the trip I was planning on for Europe in mid November. I will postpone the dates in ITALY, SWITZERLAND, and SWEDEN that I was going to announce around the time the shooting occured. I am sorry about that, but the trip is too long and I need to be doing my physical therapy for a full recovery. [More...]

Mark St John at the KISS Expo Holland
From: KISS Kollector Online/www.kisskollector.com
Sunday October 26, KISS Kollector Fanclub hosted the annual KISS Expo in Holland once again. This time former KISS guitarplayer Mark St John was the special guest. Not only was it Mark's very first trip to Europe, he was also the last remaining former member of the band that appeared at a KISS Expo in Holland. Mark turned out to be a very relaxed and approachable figure, without any ego. Too bad he had injured his hand the day prior to flying to Europe, which unabled him to play guitar and therefore he didn't take his guitars with him (so he also could not offer the guitars for sale). Cover band Torpedo Girls played two great sets, the first one starting at 18.00 hours, the last one kicking off with Heaven's On Fire, featuring Mark St John on backing vocals. During the day, dealers from Germany, Holland, USA, UK and other countries had been selling lots of merchandise, while videos from the current KISS tour were intermingled with other KISS footage (including episodes from the reality soap The Simmons). Much to the fans' surprise, also in attendance at the Expo last Sunday was one of Holland's top politicians, Maxim Verhagen (from christian party CDA). Just like last year's Expo, Mr. Verhagen was attending with his children who're KISS fans. For a full report on the annual KISS Kollector Expo, please check out the upcoming issue of KISS Kollector magazine (issue 47 is scheduled for January/February 2004).

Bruce Kulick Recovering At Home After Suffering Gunshot Wounds
From:
KULICK.net
(Media contact: Anne Leighton 718-881-8183/Leightonmedia@aol.com) - Guitarist Bruce Kulick is recovering at home, after being released early Thursday morning (October 16) from Cedars- Sinai hospital. The main discrepancy in previous news reports was that the venue he attended last night was at THE KEY CLUB and Bruce was not involved with the altercation that occured at the RAINBOW BAR AND GRILL. Here is Bruce's report:

"I had a great time at the Key Club seeing Vince Neil perform.

Highlights of the night included seeing my old drummer from Union--Brent Fitz-- play with Vince. It was amazing to see Motley Crue's founder and bassist Nikki Sixx getting up to jam with Vince and his band.

After thanking the band for the show, I left the club at 1:20 a.m. I was walking down the street (Sunset Blvd) just outside of the KEY CLUB to get my car with my friend when shots rang out.

I felt my right leg hit and my left temple glazed from at least two shots. I shouted Get down! but never saw the shooter and did not realize the gunshots were fired from the gunman a half block up the street near the Rainbow.

My friends called 911 and it was then I realized that a bullet went into my thigh just above the right knee.

The police and the paramedics were called amongst the confusion, and I was taken quickly to Cedars Sinai. Upon a thorough examination at the hospital it was realized that the bullet went through my thigh, missing the major artery and bone. I was very lucky in this matter, although I am in pain and uncertain how long recovery will take.

My hearing is fine, the temple wound was bleeding for a while, and the doctors called it a very fortunate "abrasion". To think what could have happened from that bullet if my head was not in the position it was that night is a horrific thought.

It was certainly a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, walking in a public street having no knowledge of any altercation in the vicinity. Of all the hundreds of people exposed to the gunfire, it is mindblowing to think of shots being fired in a crowd of innocent people.

Ive received many messages and phone calls wishing me well and really appreciate all the support from my family, friends, and fans from around the world."

Bruce, who plays with Grand Funk Railroad and was in KISS for 12 years, recently released a solo album, TRANSFORMER. His website is www.kulick.net and the band is www.grandfunkrailroad.com. He'll be updating the sites regarding his recovery from the wounds and his upcoming musical commitments.

Hello Everyone! I trust that everyone's summer activities are over and the fall means that my schedule has finally slowed down a bit, and allowed me to be home in LA. Being home has given me some opportunities for some very fun social events that I want to share with all of you! First exciting event was getting a call to go the rehearsal taping of "The George Lopez Show". George is an LA comedian with a hit show on ABC. He also is a KISS fan and guitar freak. And none other than James Hunting from UNION called me to accompany him to the taping. James has a friend that works on the show...who also plays guitar! So after watching George's show rehearsal , he invited us to his office, the guitars and acoustics came out and a big jam session/guitar lesson ensued. George, who is a great guy, was quite happy to have James and I riffing in his presence. And it always amazes me how fascinated the acting world is with the music world. A good time was had by all and I hope to do it again with George! Next night was the Dodger game with my brother, Eric Singer and Karl Cochran. Bob invited another musician named Page Hamilton, from the band Helmet. He brought his girlfriend to our special box seats at the stadium from our connection and KISS friend, Rande who works for the Dodger organization. For those "in the know" Page has been dating Winona Ryder!!! She was very sweet and of course quite beautiful and I think enjoyed being the only girl amongst a group of guys! The Dodgers lost but we all loved the game and talking about the music business and life in general. I told Winona I wished she would get busy with another movie. She told me that she was still taking some time off. I've always been a huge fan of hers so it was quite exciting. Page is a great guy who has been doing some recording for my brother and is also a fellow ESP guitar endorser. [More...]
