Michael Edwards' KISS Reunion Photos
The photos on this page were taken in Greensboro, NC on September 28, 1996 and in Hampton, VA on October 4, 1996. Thanks to KISS, I was able to get photo passes to both shows, and it was an experience like no other. (Anyone who saw them really close in full costume knows what I mean!) Of course, you do have the drawbacks of Gene standing over you and dripping sweat whenever he moves, so you have to be very careful! Anyway, Greensboro was pretty cool because, after taking photos during the assigned songs ("Do You Love Me" and "Calling Dr. Love"), I was able to keep my camera with me during the rest of the show. Unfortunately, I didn't find my last roll of film (which I'd stuck in my shirt pocket so I wouldn't forget where it was, ironically enough!) until right before "Black Diamond" started. The photo of Peter up on the drums came from that song (obviously), and the photo of the fireworks was at the very end on the note that Paul actually broke the guitar on. (One of those shots that you just don't get a second chance at!) Hampton the following week provided yet another funny moment, as Gene was standing right over me posing his heart out when I ran completely out of film. Not wanting him to know (as he was really getting into it), I kept "clicking" away, as if I was still taking pictures! I hope everyone enjoys these...please feel free to use them in any way you want. All I ask is that, if you put them on a site, you give me and KISS Asylum credit! -- Michael Edwards / KISS Karisma Online
