KISS Psycho Circus Action Figures

One of McFarlane Toys' most successful lines for 1997, KISS, experienced complete sellouts. The success continues into 1998 with the introduction of a new assortment of KISS action figures -- KISS Psycho Circus, the first new album in over 18 years featuring the original band members, anda new, ground breaking tour late 1998.

Last June, Todd McFarlane Productions in association with Song Signatures launched the monthly comic book KISS Psycho Circus which experienced thelargest sales increase for a newly introduced comic book in 1997. KISS Psycho Circus expands upon the mystique of KISS by developing macabre, circus-type story lines.

The KISS Psycho Circus action figures will capture both the alter-egos of each KISS member as portrayed in KISS Psycho Circus along with expanding upon the traditional KISS look. The KISS Psycho Circus assortment features King of Beast -- Peter Criss and The Animal Wrangler, The Celestial -- Ace Frehley and The Stiltman, The Demon -- Gene Simmons and The Ring Master, and The Starbearer -- Paul Stanley and The Jester, all dual packaged on blister cards. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is between $9.99 and $11.99 per [dual packaged] set. Each set is sold seperately.

The Animal Wrangler

  • Peter Criss, standing 5 5/8 inches tall, is outfitted with fur cape, real chains, claw-like shoes, hooked wrist pads, rooted hair and lion mask knee pads. He comes with staff and dagger that fit in either hand. Dagger stores in scabbard on right leg. He is articulated at the neck (ball joints), shoulders (balljoints), waist, hips and wrists.

  • The Animal Wrangler, standing 5 3/8 inches tall, comes with black leopard, soft PVC whip that fits in his right hand. He is articulated at the neck, shoulders, waist bicepts and wrists.

  • The Celestial

    The Stiltman

  • Ace Frehley, stands 6 3/4 inches tall, with rocket engines and hoses highlighting his costume. His shoulder length hair is rooted. Trigger activated missile launchers are featured on both arms. Two missiles are included. He is articulated at the neck, shoulders, right bicep, waist, hips, knees and wrists.

  • The Stiltman stands 5 13/16 inches tall. Place stilts on his feet and insert end of stilts into base ring for displaying. Two stilts and base ring provided. He is articulated at the neck, shoulders and hips.

    The Ring Master

  • Gene Simmons, stands 6 1/2 inches tall. His body armor features real chains, a skull belt buckle, claw-like shoes, daggers and wings. His accessories include a dragon launcher, axe, wings, spear/staff and flame missile. His hair is rooted. Wings attach to his back and staff fits in left hand. Realistic firing dragon launcher fits in right hand. Place missile in dragon's mouth and press trigger to fire. He is articulaged at the neck, shoulders, waist, hips and wrists.

  • The Ring Master, standing 6 inches tall, comes with megaphone, and snake cane. The magaphone fits in his right hand or can be stored on the flexible belt around his waist. The snake cane fits in his left hand. He is articulated at the neck, shoulders, waist and forearms.

  • The Starbearer

  • Paul Stanley, stands 6 3/8 inches tall, with costume that includes real chains, platform shoes and face mask pads on shoulder and knees. His accessories include a sword with scabbard, motor pack with rocket engines, and blade shield. Blade shield fits in his left hand or attaches to the rocket motor pack and mounts on his back. Scabbard can hang on belt hook by chain. Sword fits in right hand. He is articulated at the neck, shoulders, waist, hips, left bicep, right wrist and knees. Hair is rooted.

  • The Jester, stands 4 inches tall and includes three juggling balls, bowling pin and performing poodle. The Jester can hold juggling balls and bowling pin can be placed in poodle's mouth.
