KISS MY TATTOO!! Updated October 12, 2003
John & Chel
We met online, became really good friends, and made a pact to get rose tattoos together one day. We eventually met in person, fell in love, and completed our tattoo mission. And as they say, the rest is kisstory

I've been a KISS fan since I was around 8 years old (around 22 years) so when I decided to get a tatoo it was only logical I do a Kiss theme. The artist is a long time friend of mine and he designed it completely from scratch. On the reunion tour it was shown to the entire band and they all LOVED it. My mission accomplished!

I got this TAT at TIGGER'S in Dallas on Aug 8, 1994. I met KISS for the first time July 2, 1995 at the KISS Convention in Dallas. Gene and Paul signed it for me, and Paul was amazed that someone actually would Tattoo his face on them for life. It was great!!

The first time I though of getting a KISS tattoo was when I was watching Konfidential video, that made me realize how much this band really means to me. "once you join this army you're in forever"

As a fan since '75 and a veteran of all three Australian KISS tours it was only natural I added a KISS tatt to my collection. As you can see from the pic I am also a cop, which just shows how truly universal the KISS Army is. To me a KISS T-shirt is a good get-out-of-jail-free-card!

I got my tat shortly after the news that the Boise, ID reunion concert had been cancled for the MTV music awards. I already had my tickets for the Salt Lake concert, so I had to spend my KISS money on something besides tickets.

I have been a KISS Fanatic since I was 9 years old...I'm now 33! I stumble onto the first KISS album by accident while shopping with my older brother. The sales person was just taking the ablum out of the box when I saw it and was hypnotized by the cover. I borrowed the money from my brother and bought it without it enev being priced. I have been hooked ever since. My tattoo is simple, their autographs surrounding the KISS logo but I love it. Thanks Tony(To the Point Tattoo, Crestwood, IL.) KISS Rocks!

I have been a KISS fan since I was about 6-7 years old. My first tattoo (top right arm) was an original design drawn by Sam and tattooed by Bear at "Bear's Skin Art" in Edmonton, AB Canada (www.tattoosbybear.com). It's based on art from the Hotter than Hell album. I didn't want to have the usual "KISS" letters done so I opted for a Japanese version along with the chikara symbol on a stone tablet type background. I have a tattoo of a Japanese samurai, which overlaps on the bottom a bit.
My other KISS tattoo, is of Gene's monster boot with the idea for the art also drawn by Sam and tattooed by Bear. The art was based on Gene's boots from the Destroyer cover. It's located on my right calf and I hope to have a matching one on the left side soon.

I've been a fan for about 16 years now. Last Summer I decided to get a tattoo - but it had to mean everything to me - it had to symbolize me. So I designed a KISS tattoo to my liking. The bottom of it is hard to read - but it says Forever and it has the Chikara symbol in the middle of the lightening (my tribute to Eric Carr). So here it is!

Great to see all those Kiss-tattoo's. I've one myself. It's from the backside of the Hotter than hell-album. I live in Huizen, Holland and I'm the drummer of a rockband called "SHE." We play songs of our own but a lot of Kiss-tunes also. Check us out when we are in your neighbourhood and come to talk about Kiss with us.

I ve been a KISSFAN as long as i can remember thanx to my elder brothers (I am 20 years old) so I've grown up with KISS. I got my tattoo in January 1995 and I've had to redo it 3 times cause the colour wore of. But now it's getting ok. I have plans for more KISS tatoos so I'll mail the pics of the upcoming as soon as they are done.

After getting my first KISS tattoo at age 17 (a bad recreation of Paul's rose), I opted to get a better one just before Christmas of 1997 at the age of 26.Ý Designing a derivation of the You Wanted The Best, You Got The Best album cover, Tawd at Tattoo Zoo (http://www.islandnet.com/~tattoozoo) here in Victoria, BC was very eager to do the work.Ý Though the picture quality is a little poor (polaroid), you can get the drift of the amazing recreation that Tawd did in designing this awesome tattoo.

I got this tattoo on my right back shoulder blade in South St. in Philadelphia, PA about 2 years ago(June 96). It took about 5 hours to complete. The KISS logo is the only thing that has color in it(tye-dye!). I'm 29 years old and have been a KISS fan for over 20. I've attended 9 Reunion shows--MSG in NYC, Washington, DC, Philadelphia,PA(3 shows), Nassau Colisium (on LI, NY), New Years Eve--Meadowlands, NJ , State College PA, and Baltimore MD. Long live the KINGS!!

My name is Loren Bates. I have been a Kiss fan since 1975, first hearing the Alive album! WOW! I was hooked! I am 33 years old now, and still love them. This tattoo was done in 1995. I knew I wanted the band done in stone, and I looked every where for the perfect picture to convert to stone. Nothing really jumped out at me. Then I saw it!!! The history book!! That's it!! Love Gun first try! then I came up with the mountain idea, gave it to London Bellman, at atomic art tattoo in Portland, Oregon. He drew the idea to perfection, and there you have it!!!! Mt. Kissmore!! ha ha! thanks for looking and i hope to see it posted with the rest of the kiss tattoos!

I had seen KISS in concert only 3 times, and i had decided i had to finally do something to show my appreciation. I finally decided on my 39th? birthday i was going to sit through 5 grueling hours of pain for a tattoo of Gene's face on my leg.

This is a picture of my Ace tat. It was done by Scott at Electric Ink in East Providence, RI. The KISS logo was done in a turquoise stone because I was wearing alot of turquoise at the time it was done. This was done totally freehand from a magazine pic I brought in.
