KISS front man Gene Simmons is back with season five of the hit reality series, "Gene Simmons Family Jewels," along with his life partner - former playmate of the year, as well as, former head of the local PTA, Shannon Tweed.
Gene Simmons is the front man of the rock band KISS and a successful businessman overseeing a multi-million dollar empire. After 35 years of rocking and rolling, the band is still going strong and is on a European tour this Spring.
Gene is happily unmarried to his life partner of 25 years, Shannon Tweed. Together, they are raising their two children - Nick, 21 and 16-year-old Sophie.
The unconventional family returns for an all-new season of A&E's hit unscripted series, "Gene Simmons Family Jewels." Season five will mark the shows 100th episode and begins with a terrifying moment. Shannon has a health scare that makes the family rally forcing Gene to be caught between two worlds - being there for the mother of his two children and being on tour with KISS.
The new season will give viewers a behind the scenes look at the family's many adventures and milestone moments that make them so cohesive. From Sophie's high school graduation, to Genes 60th and Nicks 21st birthdays, this is going to be a very emotional year for Gene and Shannon as both their kids are fast becoming adults. The family also spends more time on the road with Gene as KISS is in the midst of a world tour.
