Reality TV star and former Playboy model Shannon Tweed is getting her own road in Saskatoon.

The Saskatchewan city where she lived for many years has approved a recommendation to name a street "Tweed Lane."

Tweed was presented with an honorary street sign last year while filming an episode of the TV show "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" in the city.

Tourism Saskatoon wanted to make it official before the episode airs July 12.

Tweed was born in Newfoundland, but her family moved to Saskatoon, where she graduated from Mount Royal Collegiate.

Tweed stars in "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" with her partner of 26 years, Gene Simmons, lead singer for the rock group KISS.
