It appears that the make-up date for the KISS Rockline show is April 22nd. KISS will announce the KISS reunion tour dates then. Supposedly the tour is to start on June 28th at Tiger Stadium with Stone Temple Pilots opening for KISS. This information should be confirmed during the KISS press conference on April 16th.
There is a very strong indication that KISS will hold their press conference
to announce their reunion tour on April 16th in New York City on the USS
Intrepid (A US aircraft carrier) at 6pm EST.
KISS will be flown in via helicopter in full make-up plus fireworks and pyrotechnics used in the ceremony. There is also
a rumor that MTV will
hold this press conference live. It is possible that KISS might play some
songs live!
There is talk that the reunion tour will begin the 2nd week of June and kick
off in Detroit, Michigan at Tiger Stadium.
Tour dates will be posted here when they are made available.
The "KISS MTV Unplugged" video is #1 in music video sales on the Billboard charts this week. Also this video
is #10 in the general video sales category.
Also, as mentioned earlier, the "KISS MTV Unplugged" CD debuted on the Billboard charts at #15.
The rock group Stone Temple Pilots was on Howard Stern's radio program on
Friday and said that they were hoping to open up for KISS during the reunion
tour this summer. Stone Temple Pilots are huge KISS fans. Right now, things
are being worked out for this to happen.
