Here is a rundown of the March 14th Borders.com chat for thoes of you who were not able to attend.
I got a few questions in, One of the asking about new merchandice after the tour and Gene said, "New merchandise will come out after the tour." He also stated that along with the "Rock and Roll all nite" CBS movie that he is finalizing a four hour mini-series bio-pic.
susistrutter asked, " When is the Detroit show gonna be and will it be the big last show of the tour? Gene's reply was, " It will not be the last show of the tour, But we are planning at least three days in Detroit soon."
When asked about where Alive 4 was recorded he replied, " The tracks were recorded sporadically - throughout the '96 through New Years Eve 2000 shows."
Gene was also asked about what kind of music he liked besides KISS? "I like anything done well, I dont have a problem with the BackStreet Boys, and Christine Aguilera, both of which are put together by very clever writers and producers, I also have no problem wih well-made rap songs. I do have a problem, however with the state of Rock and Roll. There are not new rock bands. Seattle & Grunge sucked the life out of Rock and Roll, so all the new fans wanting guitar music saw bands that looked like pizza deliery boys onstage, and simpily started listening to other forms of music that had style and pizzazz. Mabey one day the next 15-year old kid who comes out of Wyoming and straps a guiar around his shoulders will have the decency and self-respect when he gets up onstage to give the people a show. Only one can hope"
spaceace702 asked The Demon, "Gene, I've seen you and Paul grow as entertainers over the years. Have Ace and Peter grown as well in your eyes?" to which Gene quickly replied," No."
Guest-Juggs inquired, "What do you think of kissonline.com - is it really the "official" website?" Gene's reply was," It's more of a store, - we hope to beef it up in the future."
jfcy says: " What are Peter, Paul and Ace going to do after the Farewell Tour?"
Gene's reply,"Paul will probably be active in musical theatre. Both Peter and Ace have aspirations on a musical nature."

In parting Gene said..."I want to serriously take a moment and tell you all how much I appreciate you for having made all my dreams come true. I was born in another country and kept hearing about a magical place where anything wes posible. I'm living proof, It is! All my dreams have come true. I hope all of yours do, as well"
