I just want to express my own opinion on the carnival of souls. Allthough I am a truely dedicated kiss fan and have been since there inception, I feel the soul is totally gone from this lp. Almost every song is the same sound, a way far cry from the kiss I've known and loved over the years. It sounds like a bunch of dumped, unwanted material that they decided to through together to fill a cd. It has no musical style other than the vocals to anything kiss has done in the past. It simply put doesn't have any class, doesn't even have any variables or changes in rythem or beat, and leaves the impression by the sound of it that they could care less to be doing it at all. THANK GOD kiss has vowed to go back to the roots and hopefully come up with tunes that made them what they are today. I really liked domino, and if they can get back to their old style as the original 4, then they I believe will kick ass. I went to see them at the gund arena in cleveland, oh. and it was awsome!!! The original alive II stage and all the flair and makeup is and will be the kiss of the future in my book.
