A quartet of Kiss fans trashed 25 vehicles and caused more than $40,000 worth of damage in a New Jersey auto lot last week, according to NJ.com. Video of the vandals, found on Gothamist, show them wearing masks with vocalist-guitarist Paul Stanley’s (probably) trademarked stars over their right eyes as they spray-painted the hoods of vehicles and smashed windows with crowbars, fire extinguishers and a shovel. At one point, two of the Stanleys chest-bumped. Police believe the men are in their late teens or early 20s.

Authorities are asking for help in identifying the “destroyers,” citing one vandal’s New York Rangers jersey and another’s wrist in an Ace bandage. The incident took place at the SB Maaco Auto Body Shop in Saddle Brook. “[The men] may have thought their silly rampage was a joke and funny, but our desire is that they soon learn just how not a joke it is to be locked up in the Bergen County Jail and locked up with colleagues they can further joke with,” Deputy Police Chief Robert White said.

Meanwhile, the real Paul Stanley and his Kiss bandmates are gearing up for their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which will take place April 10th in Brooklyn, New York. One thing their fans should not expect, however, is a full-blown reunion with founding members Ace Frehley and Peter Criss. “This is understandably an emotional situation where there is no way to please everyone,” Kiss said in a statement, following incendiary remarks from their former members. “To bring this to a quick end, we have decided not to play in any line-up and we will focus our attention on celebrating our induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.”
