ACE FREHLEY TALKS ABOUT CURRENT STATUS OF HIS CONTACT WITH PAUL STANLEY

During a recent conversation for The Eddie Trunk Podcast, former KISS member Ace Frehley revealed the current status of his relationship with the band.

As you might remember, the original guitarist of KISS, Ace Frehley, has been in a rough relationship with the band members since their argument about the possible reunion of the band.

Last year, KISS bassist Gene Simmons stated in an interview that Ace Frehley would be welcomed for a possible reunion, but if he didn’t show up, it would be his fault. Simmons also mentioned Ace’s drug and alcohol problems that caused his dismissal from the band before. However, Ace denied the accusations, and harshly reacted to Gene on social media.

Recently, ‘The Spaceman‘ of KISS, Ace Frehley joined Eddie Trunk’s podcast and talked about the recent status of his relationship with the band members. Apparently, Ace has been texting with them, and things seem to be settled between the music icons for now.

“I texted Paul and Gene the other day, last week, and just wished them well, and everybody’s OK, thank god.

Eric sent me some texts – because I and Eric always got along really well on the road, but you know, everything’s cool. What’s gonna happen is gonna happen, but everything’s delayed, so who knows what’s gonna happen?

I take one day at a time, I always have since I got sober 13 years ago, and that’s the way I live my life.”

Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, Kiss leaders Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, Alice Cooper, Joan Jett and others will be seen in the documentary Creem: America’s Only Rock ’n’ Roll Magazine when it opens in theaters in August.

The publication was launched in Detroit in 1969 by Barry Kramer and Tony Reay, and became a leader in music journalism during the ‘70s, particularly when its staff included Lester Bangs.

The publication is credited with coining the phrase “punk rock” and with exposing punk, New Wave and heavy metal to the public long before mainstream media followed. Despite enduring business problems since publication ceased in 1989, its reputation remains powerful.

I also go through a lot of mouthwash, and I really like this cool mint flavor. I have a big fat mouth, so a lot fits in there — I go through about a bottle a month. I try to brush all the stuff out of my teeth, but a lot of the time I really need mouthwash to get it all out. Most people gargle deep, and that’s okay — it helps get whatever’s down there close to your throat — but you should also swish it around. Thirty seconds is a pretty good amount of time for that — it really gets it all. It’s important that I use mouthwash when I get off stage, because I spit blood and fire.
