12 Steps For Gene & Paul

I recently read in Sound-Off that fans who complain HATE Gene and Paul because they seem to make all of the $$ in KISS. This could not be further from the truth. We KISS fans are so mad at them because we LOVE them and they have hurt us.

I am 37 years old and have been a KISS fan since my pre-teens so I have lived through every era of KISSdom. I have been to concerts of every tour since Destroyer. I proudly display my concert souvenirs, even those of the "HATED" Gene and Paul.

The problem is with the lying. They lie all the time. They lie so much they even start to believe their own lies. They lied when Peter left. They tried to lie when Ace left. They tried to lie again when the PC rumors flew. Then they get mad when Ace voices the truth and Peter tries without succeeding to hide behind some clever dialogue about his PC contributions. They even lied to Bruce and Eric when the reunion tour was coming together. What kind of people can they be when they can lie to a close, personal friend like Bruce? He gave them years of loyal service for god sakes! If they can do that to Bruce what makes you think they give a damn about any of us??

You so called "loyal to the death fans" remember your forgiveness when a friend or family member does you wrong because you are really quick to forgive the disloyal Gene and Paul. I don't blame Ace for wanting to leave. PC had ten songs, whoopee!! They could have put five more of Ace's songs on their and the precious Gene and Paul still could have had all their tunes too.

The fact is that G & P are jealous of the popularity Ace has had over the years with the KISS fans. They were embarrassed when his solo record slaughtered their own and have not forgiven Ace yet. True Ace has alot of problems but he always has told the truth or kept his mouth shut. That is why HE still gets respect with KISS fans Peter is a very popular member in his own right but seems content to let G & P keep him down as long as he gets a tiny nibble of the pie.

I LOVE all the members of KISS, but the fact is I want a real NEW KISS album with full participation as friends like they once were. Ace, Gene, Paul & Peter are like family members who do you wrong, all they would have to do is apoligize and all would be forgiven. Ace & Peter got help for their "problems" now Gene and Paul need to take a 12 step program for lying. Then I will forgive them. In the mean time I still love them but I am hurt. Heal me guys and make a real KISS record!!
