Fanzine Title: | KISSaholics fanzine |

I became a KISS fan in 1978 just before Double Platinum was released after hating KISS. That's right, I did not like them until a friend urged me to listen to Alive. I did and I was floored - I have been a huge fan ever since.
KA: Why and when did you start doing your fanzine?
Because my friend and I saw that there were no fanzines dedicated to KISS collecting. Also because I wanted to produce something that I would like.
KA: Please give us a description of your fanzine and how KISS fans can subscribe.
Issues are printed quarterly in high quality on glossy paper. Each issue has a minimum of 32 pages. Issues contain the latest news, as well as info on KISS stuff, interviews, messages from the band, old concert and record ads and tons of other stuff. http://kissasylum.com/kissaholics
KA: What sets your fanzine apart from the others out there in KISS fandom?
The collecting aspect would have to be one of the reasons, but the main one is that we don't kiss anybody's ass (including the band). We call 'em as we see them and invite our readers to do the same.
KA: What are some of the "headaches" and joys of running a fanzine?
Unfortunately, there have been several fanzines come and go and some have taken money and not delivered even a single issue. KISSaholics has been published for 6 years now and has become one of the most reliable KISS 'zines out there.
KA: What was the best interview or feature you have done as a Fanzine Editor?
Best interview: Stan Penridge
Best Feature: Pinball Machine article in the upcoming issue.
KA: Who would you like to interview (and why) but have never had the chance to?
Paul, because he tends to go a little further than the other guys in interviews.
KA: Why did you decide to bring your fanzine online in the form of a webpage?
So people can see how unusual it is.
KA: How has the online world affected your fanzine?
Very little.
KA: What were your thoughts when you heard about the Reunion tour?
I've been pushing for it in my fanzine since 1992!
KA: What are your expectations for the upcoming Psycho Circus album and tour, as well as the future of KISS?
For KISS'sake, it better be good. I don't think the tour will be as BIG as the Reunion tour but I think it will be better.
KA: This is your forum, say whatever's on your mind to all the fans online that are reading this Focus.
This is not exactly KISS-related but, when you Email somebody TELL THEM WHO YOU ARE! Would you ever hand a note to someone with your initials on it and nothing else?
