October Poll Comments: What is Your Favorite song off of the Psycho Circus Album?
  • Its great to hear Ace once again.... amazingly it sounds just like Dark Light.. coincidence?Hmmm I had to listen to Dark Light again and they are like brother and sister.
  • I think the first seven songs on the psycho circus cd are some of there best stuff they have done. They are definitly the best since at least creatures. Any of the first seven could have been chosen, but I chose We Are One because it is about Kiss' relationship with the fans.
  • I have read several reviews where people said this this song didn%27t rock%2C or was too slow. As for tempo, give a listen to the original studio recordings of Deuce, God of Thunder, and Calling Dr. Love. A song does not need speed to be "heavy." This is a great tune.
  • On the whole the album sounds a little disjointed. To the album's benefit for me although rather short.Individually all the songs are great.Journey.. by Gene could be performed as an epic live. Gene leans heavily on the edge of his melodic talent here and the results are fantastic. Psycho Circus comes a close second.Into the Void is also good but not Ace's best.
  • It's great to hear all four sing on the song. Ace plays great on this one, and Peter is tough as well. I love the lyrics also. It's nice to see them sing about things that they said about one another in the past. I mean it shows how lucky we are to have them back together again. It's an all around rocker. A great song froma great album. Hard to choose but in the end it's the one that sticks in my head the most, and can't wait to hear and see it LIVE.

Question:What costumes should KISS wear for the upcoming Psycho Circus World Tour?
    Results: Number: Percentage:
    Modified Destroyer Versions:19426%
    New Psycho Circus Versions:30441%

    Total Number:744100%
August Poll Comments: What costumes should KISS wear for the upcoming Psycho Circus World Tour?
    Modified Destroyer Versions
  • Destroyer represents the best of KISS-their best album...their best look. The Love Gun costumes were great but I would have rather seen the Destroyer suits. And everytime I imagine KISS in some "new"costumes I get visions of "Dynasty" in my head. Definitely Destroyer.
  • New Psycho Circus Versions
  • Besides the goofy masks on Paul's outfit, I was really looking forward to these new outfits that's what it boils down to. KISS had new outfits each and every tour. For the new tour why go backwards? How cool would Gene's Psycho Circus doll outfil be in real life? I'd kill to see the boots alone!
  • Something New, Other than Psycho Circus Versions
  • I think Kiss should come up with new outfits. This is the second tour with redone old outfits. Granted, there are alot of fans that never saw the Destroyer tour, but the newer fans should get there own memories not retreads!
  • July Poll Results
Question:In light of the Reunion Tour show in Columbus, Georgia where Peter Criss was replaced, if a similar situation were to occur during the impending Psycho Circus tour where a member could not perform for some reason would you prefer the show go on with a replacement, or be canceled with no guarantee it could be made up?
    Results: Number: Percentage:
    Use a Replacement:1615%
    Cancel The Show:4846%
    Depends On The Member:4039%
    Total Number:104100%
July Poll Comments: In light of the Reunion Tour show in Columbus, Georgia where Peter Criss was replaced, if a similar situation were to occur during the impending Psycho Circus tour where a member could not perform for some reason would you prefer the show go on with a replacement, or be canceled with no guarantee it could be made up?
    Use a Replacement
  • I missed the reunion tour! You think I'm gonna miss it again? I don't care if only Peter is there. I'm going!!!
  • Cancel The Show
  • I was there in Columbus when Peter was replaced. The show was pretty good, but why would you want to see only 75% of what you paid to enjoy? Nobody watches a movie 3/4 of the way.
  • Depends On The Member
  • If it's Peter, replace him. Peter is the one element in the show that can be substituted on a given night. Gene, Paul or Ace simply could not logically be replaced and still allow the band to provide a reasonable representation of the show.
  • June Poll Results
Question:Do you think the Psycho Circus Tour will be as successful as the Reunion Tour?
    Results: Number: Percentage:
    More:17239%
    Worse:13230%
    About The Same:13731%
    Total Number:441100%
June Poll Comments: Do you think the Psycho Circus Tour will be as successful as the Reunion Tour?
    More
  • The only people who will ever outdo KISS is KISS
  • I do think the new tour will be at least as successful as the reunion tour was. With the new album I think that will generate fresh interest in the band and their activities. Their reputation for great shows was strong enough to sell out stadiums and arenas world wide without fresh material.
  • This may very well be it for the original KISS line up so if you're gonna see them this may be your last chance
  • Worse
  • I think the hype of reunion has died and only the real KISS fans will attend to concerts.
  • The people who didn't like KISS in the first place and only knew "Rock and Roll All Nite" have already just wanted to say they saw KISS with make up. Now that the novelty is over I beleive only the die-hards will be going as usual
  • Don't get me wrong I think the tour will be a success but I doubt it will be as big as the original Reunion tour. That was so huge because the makeup was back and they hadn't played together in a long time. Now it's not as fresh and new as it was before. I think it will be a great tour one of the year's best but not quite as big as the last tour.
  • About The Same
  • It depends solely on the new album. If it kicks ass like we all hope it will so will the tour.
  • I think KISS fan base is already built. If you are a fan you would have seen their Reunion tour. Those same people will be back for the Psycho Circus tour.
  • May Poll Results
Question:Based on your first impressions, how do you think the design of the Psycho Circus KISS Figures compares with the series 1 figures?
    Results: Number: Percentage:
    Better:9645%
    Worse:5224%
    About The Same:6931%
    Total Number:207100%
May Poll Comments: Based on your first impressions, how do you think the design of the Psycho Circus KISS Figures compares with the series 1 figures?
    Better
  • Better, but I can't see Paul with those skulls!
  • Overall better, but Gene and Peter are a little overdone.
  • By far the best. I find it hard to believe that they will actually wear those costumes!
  • Worse
  • I like the traditional look better.
  • The new figures are HORRIBLE! I can't believe KISS has or will approve these.
  • I hope someone stops these before they get out, I wouldn't waste my money on them.
  • About The Same
  • As for the look, it will bring a new dimension to KISS, as for the design, I hope they're not as flimsy as the originals.
  • Great idea, each guy having an alter Circus ego.
  • I think it's cool they're releasing a new series with a different concept.
  • April Poll Results
Question:How much would it matter to you if there were writers other than the four memebers of KISS on the "Psycho Cirucs" album?
    Results: Number: Percentage:
    Matters
    a lot:
    77 21%
    Depends:93 27%
    Doesn't Matter:192 52%
    Total Number:362100%
April Poll Comments: How much would it matter to you if there were writers other than the four memebers of KISS on the "Psycho Cirucs" album?
    Matters a lot
  • If I wanted the songwriting of another artist, I'd buy their album.
  • I think it ruined other albums like Alive II.
  • The band should do all the writing or you don't get KISS songs.
  • Depends
  • They've done it before, as long as at least one band member is involved.
  • As long as the album is good and sounds like KISS.
  • I'd like to see them all written by KISS.
  • Doesn't Matter
  • I might even enjoy a cover song.
  • But they should play their own instruments, no phantoms.
  • They always put out good stuff with co-writers, why care now?
  • March Poll Results
Question:Do you think (not what you would like, but what you think will actually be the case) the "Psycho Circus" tour will be KISS's last tour?
    Results: Number: Percentage:
    YES:198 33%
    NO:347 57%
    Not Sure:47 10%
    Total Number: 592100%
March Poll Comments: Do you think (not what you would like, but what you think will actually be the case) the "Psycho Circus" tour will be KISS's last tour?
    Yes
  • It will be 25 years of KISS, and what better way to go out?
  • I hope not, but the boys are getting older and I can't picture 55 year old men in platform shoes and make-up.
  • Gene once said that if the original members get back it will be for the last time.
  • The Reunion Tour should've been the last.
  • No
  • They will do one last tour entitled "The Last Tour".
  • I think they're still having too much fun to quit.
  • In a magazine interview with Gene, he said they are planning a year 2000 concert, so that says it all.
  • They've always said, if we show up, they'll come.
  • When Gene and Paul are dead, then it'll be the last tour.. maybe!
  • Not Sure
  • Nobody expected them to reunite and they did, so you never know.
  • Since they won't get the audience they got for the Reunion Tour, I'm not sure they'll continue touring.
  • Depends. I think they'll be around until they get in the Hall of Fame.
  • It could be the tour to end all tours, or just the beginning.
  • Common Comments
  • Depends how the album and/or tour goes. If it's a success, they will continue. If not, who knows.
  • If the rumors are true that they're not getting along, this will be the end.
  • February Poll Results
Question: Do you think KISS is doing enough (other than non-music related merchandising) to keep their name in the public's eye during this time between the end of the Reunion Tour and the release of "Psycho Circus?"
    Results: Number: Percentage:
    YES:135 43%
    NO:161 51%
    Not Sure:22 6%
    Total Number: 318100%
February Poll Comments: Do you think KISS is doing enough (other than non-music related merchandising) to keep their name in the public's eye during this time between the end of the Reunion Tour and the release of "Psycho Circus?"
    Yes
  • It's called overexposure. These days if people see too much of something, they get sick of it.
  • It's going to be interesting to see how the Circus tour does now that the novelty of the reunion tour is over.
  • I've never heard of KISS (age 14)
  • They've never been media darlings, why start now. Their real fans know.
  • No
  • They should do some appearances to let people know that the original members are back together, as some people only liked them with the original members.
  • It seems as if they've fallen off the Earth.
  • Not much happening in Australia.. need to see more worldwide rather than just in America. (note: got similar replies from people from other countries)
  • Exposure is key. KISS needs to get new fans, not just rely on the die hard KISS Army.
  • Additional Note: We got a lot of people saying that they need to make more public appearances and/or release a video of the reunion tour.
  • Not Sure
  • They're losing the chance to release the greatest video of the greatest tour ever - Alive Worldwide 2.
  • If they try to keep themselves in the public eye, it's "overexposure", if not, it's said they're not doing enough. Either way, people won't be happy.
  • I think with the new album and tour, there will be no interest lost.
  • Just waiting on the new album.
  • Jaunuary Poll Results
Question: Compared to the level of the 70's, do you think the level of KISS merchandise currently available is reasonable?
    Results: Number: Percentage:
    YES:379 62%
    NO:191 32%
    Not Sure:37 6%
    Total Number: 607100%
January Poll Comments: Compared to the level of the 70's, do you think the level of KISS merchandise currently available is reasonable?
    Yes
  • Yes it's a lot, but the NFL does it too and R&R is a business just like any other.
  • It just needs to be better quality. Just because I have more money now doesn't mean I'm going to spend a fortune becuase something says KISS on it.
  • KISS is getting as big as they were in the 70s and with today's technology they have more ways or merchandising, like the Internet.
  • I find it amusing that a band that said it wouldn't get like it did in the 70s and now it's more expensive stuff because we can afford more expensive stuff.
  • No
  • Being a collector, this makes that endless dream of getting everything that much more challenging.
  • Anything with KISS on it is gold, I wish they'd make a game for playstation.
  • Why would anyone complain that there is too much merchandise on their favorite artist?
    I want MORE merchandise!
  • Not Sure
  • Not yet, but they're getting there.
  • There's nothing more ridiculous than full grown adults buying action figures.
  • We'll see after the new album.
  • It doesn't matter, they're still the #1 band in the world.
