What does one think of when you hear KISS? I you¼re like me then you think of GENE, PAUL, ACE & PETER. Or you might include Bruce Kulick, Eric Carr, Mark St. John and Eric Singer as well. If you happened to be in Orlando, Fl on Sunday, March 28 you might just have been lucky enough to meet members KISS, Frehley¼s Comet, Union and others.

The special guest line-up at this years expo consisted of Bruce Kulick of KISS and Union, John Corabi of Union & the Scream, Todd Howarth from Cheap Trick & Frehley¼s Comet, Gary Corbit (KISS keyboard player,) among others.

Lots of great KISS, Frehley¼s Comet & Union Merchandise for sale throughout the day. The die hard KISS fan could score on some killer souvenirs and see an awesome jam session with some of the special guests in attendance and a couple of Q. & A. sessions pertaining to KISS, Frehley¼s Comet and UNION. The $16 dollar admission price got you a KISS puzzle and commemorative KISS phone card. The chance to meet and greet some of the best musicians around today. Lots of opportunities for photos and autographs. If you didn¼t bring it with you or didn¼t own you could buy at the expo. I personally scored on a yellow vinyl KISS UNPLUGGED album that Eric Singer and Bruce Kulick signed for me.

Unfortunately this was my first KISS convention EVER. I surely won¼t miss the next. Many in attendance stated that this year was far superior to past expos in the way that this one totally blew away previous conventions. Just so you know, I passed up a chance of seeing Brian Johnson of AC/DC performing the closing day of LIVESTOCK 8 in Tampa. I would like to have seen Johnson and the other great bands that day, but I wouldn¼t have missed meeting everyone at the expo for anything.

Be sure and look for UNION on tour starting in late April / early May playing favorite KISS, UNION, Scream and other awesome songs.
