I want to let everybody who reads this know that A World Without Heroes is a fantastic book, and even those words cannot describe it! I can remember the first time I heard about it in August of 1999. The book was so appealing that I read it completely through in a matter of hours. (Of course, I read it over the internet!) To tell everyone the truth, it was the most fascinating book I have ever read in years, and I am very picky in the books I read. A World Without Heroes is definitely a book a true die hard KISS fan should read. What is so great about the book is that it connects all the facts from the movie KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park (which is my favorite movie and so far the best they made in my opinion) to real life facts all the way from the early 70's from which they got together to the late 90's when they reunited! This book is definitely worth buying. I cannot tell you how thrilled I was when it came in the mail and it had my name in it as being part of the fundraiser for the Eric Carr fund and being a KISS Army Fan. I always considered myself a KISS Army Fan, but I was never announced as one. It made me feel like I was a part of the book and that I was very special person in KISS' hearts. The book also has pictures, and that was something that I totally did not expect! I cannot say it enough how good the book was, you should really buy it, not only because it is a wonderful book, but also because your money will go to a really worthy cause to help children. Yes, I am a die hard KISS fan, and it is true that I have only been one for a year in April, but KISS has definitely made a huge impression on my life! I even got an ink job done on my arm but a few weeks ago. It is an imprint of the original members symbols from the movie KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park, and believe me, getting an ink job of a group like KISS and me being a girl does not happen everyday. I will always stay a die hard KISS fan until the end of time!
