Atlanta Journal and Constitution Psycho Circus Review
by Doug Hamilton
Grade: A-
"The 1996 reunion tour of the original members of KISS - Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss - was an unqualified success, outgrossing every other rock tour that year. Yet, as the band played only hits from its 1970s prime, it seemed very much a retro-novelty act. With "Psycho Circus", the original lineup's first collaboration in nearly 20 years, KISS makes a play for '90s relevance. Surprisingly, it succeeds. As sonically bruising as any Metallica or Korn record, but with a welcome tunefulness, the ablum should draw legions of new recruits into the KISS Army."
