I've been a KISS fan since 1976,and since 1974 KISS has placed alot of history behind them.Today there is alot of negative krap being played on radio,and it is good that KISS is out to put a positive note back in rock-n-roll thats been sorely needed.Now I can say that I havn't always been pleased with some things that KISS has put out,but the new album''Psycho Circus'',is just flat out a F***ing good album.It is an honest piece of workmanship and devotion to the band,and especially the fans.Personally,they should've produced it themselves,but Fairbairn did O.K.,although,Bob Rock would have done better.The production,however,is good and does the band justice.Here is my song by song review.

1.PSYCHO CIRCUS---WOW!!!! This is the way an album should be opened,Paul couldn't of wrote a more fitting song to start this album off.Powerful vocals and great harmonies.Ace's solo is terrific,no showing off,just Ace.Peter's drumming,YES,Peter is drumming,how can you not tell,he has always had it.Gene's bass,on the mark as always.This song will open the show.A+

2.WITHIN---Gene,do me a favor,KEEP KICKING ASS,this song is badass man.No C.O.S. here,it is P.C.Ace's solos on this song are a reminder that HE'S THE MAN,Peter is getting dark on this track,Good beat and very Peter like.I don't hear Paul though.A+

3.I PLEDGE ALLIEGANCE---ANTHEM HERE!!!! Paul is the best songwriter,the whole band is in on this one.A+

4.INTO THE VOID---Ace is back,and strong as ever,a very good song,but something is missing,the solo is great,vocals are his best in years.Maybe it could be another song.A-

5.WE ARE ONE---O.K.I'll admit it,BEATLES.The harmonies are great,Gene is a great singer when the demon is almost human.It should have been done acoustic though,If you don't like it,listen more,it'll grow on you.B+

6.YOU WANTED THE BEST---F**k yeah,what a killer tune,they better do this live.Peter's drumming is outstanding,Gene's bass is groovin' ,Paul's rythem is like always,kickin',and Ace's solo,WOW,the best solo on the album.If you don't like it,then get your head checked.A+++

7.RAISE YOUR GLASSES--At first I thought like all other reviews,Pepsi commercial,but now after a few listens,I like it,very positive song.Paul can sing the phone book and make it sound good.A-

8.I FINALLY FOUND MY WAY---off my solo album and on this album.Some people didn't like his solo stuff,I did.Paul wrote it!!! I can see that they are trying to show their individual styles,and they wanted a ballad,but Peter can rock the house.The song is good,don't get me wrong,but Fairbairn is to blame for this one.C+ for effort. Maybe another song from Peter would have saved it.

9.DREAMIN'---Paul is the master of songwriting,and I like Alice Cooper too,but I can hear a hint of ''Eighteen'' here.The song is fabulous,well written,and well performed.I can see this done live.B+

10.JOURNEY OF 1000 YEARS---The good,the bad,and the demon.I love it.A very experimental song,but a new classic nonetheless.Gene could have fried our brains,but instead he showed the world he is a good songwriter,with respect to be deserved.This was a very beautiful way to end a timeless classic album.

This KISS album is just the beginning of a new era,it will forever stand the test of time,along with everything else they have done.AAA+++
