Before I start I want to say that I didn't want to hear Destroyer part 2,and I didn't.I also didn't want to hear Rock & Roll Over part 2,and I didn't.What I did want to hear was something fresh yet classic in only the vein Kiss could deliver.Even though this album has it's moments which you will find out in my review I think they have delivered the goods.Right onto my track by track review in song order.Marked out of 10.

PSYCHO CIRCUS - When I first heard Paul yell YEEAAHH!!!!!!!!!!!,I wet my pants.This is the type of song I always knew he could write.Everything about this song is great. 9

WITHIN - I don't know maybe Gene is doing movies again!!.Even though this song isn't pathetic surely out of all the song he wrote there was a better song than this.Maybe this was the only song that could fit in the number 2 slot. 5

I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE - Forget the state of rock & roll keep the title as this.Paul comes thumbs up again with this arena stomper.Wicked bass line this song will go off live. 8

INTO THE VOID - Like alot of others I was anticipating something special from Ace.What I heard however was an average song.The verses and bridge are typical Ace but the chorus is like the ass of your pants being ripped out,it falls away badly.It's hard for me to write this as Ace is my fave but who knows maybe I was expecting Rip It Out. 6.5

WE ARE ONE - When I found out this was an acoustic song I thought OOHH NO!!! not Wish Upon A Star.But this song does surprise and is a nice change of pace after the first four.Gene has finally written a winner here. 7

YOU WANTED THE BEST - This song has a great hook and it's good to hear all four trading on lead vocals,(I wonder if they all stood in the vocal booth together?).It seems the song was thrown together by a bunch of Gene ideas from past years,and even though they've got the right idea the chorus just lets the song down a bit. 7.5

RAISE YOUR GLASSES - It seems this song you either love it or hate it.I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!.This song is Paul Stanley.Strong verses that build into the bridge followed by one of the catchiest choruses you could ever hear.I can just see Paul screaming WEE'RREE GONNNA DOOO A LITTLE NUMMBER FOR YAAA NOWWW!!!!!!!,I just hope he doesn't use this song for everyone to raise their 3D glasses. 9.5

I FINALLY FOUND MY WAY - Pete's only song on the album and he comes out shining.Nice bridge part with Paul adds the cherry to the already tasty cake.Sing it for the Catman!!!. 8

DREAMIN' - MMM Paul wrote this song with Bruce!.I wonder if Bruce played on this? Although the song is strong I do believe this is Paul's worst on the album.Maybe Ace could've had another song instead. 6

JOURNEY OF 1,000 YEARS - Gene off in the twilight zone again? His vocals are very good on this track and I think it's a great way to end the album especially with the Psycho part in at the end. 6

So there it is.Overall I think Ace & Pete do play on the album but how much is anybody's guess.Although the songs seem to be a bit disjointed so was Destroyer and if this album sells as well as Destroyer did then everyone including Gene will be happy.Whether you love or hate Psycho Circus one thing we can all agree on is hopefully this won't be the last effort from the masked warriors.Everyone Raise Your Glasses and lets make a toast to the new album,new tour and another chapter in KISSTORY.
