I will keep this brief. I was somewhat disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the 'show' was great, 3d was cool, band was tight and sounding great. Other then that it was the reuion tour all over again (except for 3 songs from the new album).
After reading reviews and interviews I was excepecting them to mix it up this time but no luck. It was the exact same set I saw when they came to Connecticut twice on the reunion tour.
I cannot believe that with all the music these 4 guys made together that they can not mix it up better. I mean really, who wants to hear 'I was made for loving you"? You would also think they would promote the new album more, but no way.
I mean when Peter did 'Beth' the recording of the music sounded like it was 20 years old. You would think they could improve on that as well or do it like it was done on the Unplugged album.
As I was watching the show all I could think was if this is the show they are going to do if/when they come back to CT I will not be in attendence. Been there, done that kind of thing.
I can not tell you how disappointed I was and I have been a KISS fan for 25 years.
