Review of show at contenential Arena, New Jersey, 11/22
Kiss seems to get better every tour. There is always something extra put out by the band to make each tour special. This tour was the 3D effects. What a goof !!! It was so cool to watch parts of the show in 3D, right in your face. It really made the band look larger than life.
As far as the music, it was better than ever. I've seen KISS 17 times and they have never sounded better. Very tight. Ace played better than Ii have ever heard, never missing a note. During Cold Gin and 100,000 Years he was unbelievable.
Makin' Love was played instead of She. Paul's vocals were great as usual (especially during Love gun and Detroit) and Gene, well, what can you say about Gene. Peter played solid and was very angry with the laser pointers during Beth.
the new songs came off great, especially Psycho Circus - great energy!
Rock and roll all night was so cool when the entire arena was covered with flying confetti.
Only real dissapointment, the crowd. I'm used to a crazy night and the crowd seemed tired, subdued, and not as wild as they should have been. Last year's crowd at the Garden shows were crazy and rocked the building. Paul made several comments about the audience being so quiet.
Overall, another GREAT KISS concert.
