Let me brief and to the point. I saw Kiss at the Continental Airlines Arena and at MSG and they were, to quote Paul Stanley, "AWESOME"!!! Even though the show at NJ may have been tighter all around, there is something magical about seeing Kiss at a sold out MSG. The atmosphere inside the arena before the show must have been similar to the way it was in 1977. The crowd was great, Kiss was great and I have been suffering from withdrawl symptoms ever since the show ended. I am seriously thinking about going to one of their midwest shows.
And for all you nit-pickers and worldly critics who have been writing about every minor glitch in the show, do us all a favor and become a Hanson fan. Do we really need to read about which songs "YOU" want to hear. Kiss has so many songs in their catolog to choose from, it is impossible to please everybody. And do we always have to read about Peter Criss missing a beat or not hitting his tom-toms hard enough. Do Metallica fans email each other saying, "What's wrong with Lars? He's not hitting his drums with the same authority during "For Whom the Bell Tolls" as he used to." Just enjoy the show for what it is: A Rock And Roll Party!!!
One last item. For any Kiss fan who has not purchased the "Second Coming" video, purchase it now! It is arguably the best item Kiss has put on the market since the 70s. If you really want to see these guys behind the scenes and get to know them, then buy this video. It will make a great stocking stuffer this holiday season.
Thanks for reading my review and thanks to Kiss Asylum for bringing all the Kiss news that's fit to print into my home.
