One word to describe the PSYCHO CIRCUS concert here in philly. AWESOME!! I saw all three shows in 96 when they were here before and this one show just topped it beyond all my expectations. All four members were sharp, tight, animated, and it showed that they were loving every minute of the show with each other and the crowd. Ace was smoking!!! Playing much better than ever and in total character. Paul's voice was killer and the ultimate showman of course!! HIs flying act sent the whole place insane!!! Peter was hitting the drums with mega force and didn't miss a beat, his solo was great and the flying riser was phenomenol!!! Also, he was smiling all nite especially when Gene would turn around and rock with him. Gene RULES!! Incredible to say the least. Voice was great, he moved more this year than the each tour i've seen since 84. The flying act almost got screwed up as he almost didnt make it to the top of the trusses, but the demon performed to the max. Awesome 3Deffects. More bombs, fire, flashpods, sparks, smoke, double kiss sign, great overall sound, aces spinning spark guitar during rnr all night, triple the amount of confetti all over the stadium. THE GREATEST FUCKING ROCK N ROLL SHOW AND BAND ON EARTH!!!!!!!!!!!! p.s The set list worked much better than it did in la, i heard that on the radio and it had a much better feel to it and worked great!!!! Now i'm off to the new york city show 11/23. GO SEE THIS TOUR!!!!!!! pps. peter, paul and gene are wearing wigs, sorry, just had to make that announcement.
