Hello there all you KISS fans!

Since nobody has reviewed the KISS shows in Stockholm 2-3 of March 1999 i feel that itīs my duty to do it, so here it comes.

The first think i must say is that the band are showing much more energy now. I have seen two american show, the halloween show and the show in Buffalo on bootleg videos, they looked tired at these shows. So i was very afraid when i went to see them at the Globe Arena in Stockholm but they blew me away. There is no doubt that Paul is the king, he had kind of a protective cover on his left knee but still rocked like i never before. Ace is in a much better mood than on the reunion tour, now he even smiles from time to time on stage, and he really nailed his solos especially on the first night. Peter Criss is the one that i think has done most to improve his playing, this time around he really hits his drums like he used to in the seventies well almost. Gene is Gene he always acts like it would be his last show on stage, he really gives all that he can and he runs around more now than on the reunion tour. Musically they are still the same like in 96/97 but some songs sounds much better than last time, songs like: Firehouse, Let me go, rock īnī roll, King of the night time world, Cold gin and Black diamond maybe because they play them faster this time, i like that. Iīm not going to write much about the 3D because i donīt think that they had to do something like that, KISS is still the best hardrock band in the world and they donīt have to use something like 3D. I donīt think that the 3D is good or bad just unnecessary because i donīt want to watch my favourite band through some fucking glasses. I just watched the 3D in Do you love me and during the last part of Aceīs solo. I am glad that they just played three song from the last record because i donīt like Psycho circus although the title song is pretty good the rest sucks. I am a little bit disappointed because of the setlist, i know that they played She, Nothinī to lose and Makinī love in america so why couldnīt they do it here. We in Sweden got the same song like last time minus Watchinī You, Cīmon and love me, I stole your love and New york groove. I also think that they should drop songs like: Do you love me, Calling dr. love, Beth and the awfull I was made for lovinī you and replace them with the ones they did in USA or maybe ad Parasite, I want you or Strutter. We in Europe didnīt got to hear Strutter on the reunion tour. I also think that Peter should sing Hard luck woman instead of Beth or why donīt do Beth acoustic. The Destroyer/Rock and roll over costumes are much cooler than the ones from Love gun/Alive 2. Geneīs armor is the best KISS costume ever. I also liked the new drum riser it looks like a UFO flying over the crowd, and Peterīs solo is better this time. The new guitar effect Ace uses is very cool to it spins around first in a red circle then in a green one and pyro is flying every where. The show is still great and all the people that complain about that the show look very much like the reunion show can fuck off! I red somewhere that a reviewer wrote that Gene still breath fire and spits blood, what a hell he always did that in make up! You know there is no band in the world who gives a better show so until that day somebody will, shut up! From of scale of 1-10 i will give the shows in Stockholm a 9 not a 10 because we missed 3 or 4 classics. The songs from Psycho circus are not as strong as the old ones. Both the shows get a 9 because the setlist was the same both nights.
