Just been back from the show in Utrecht Holland. This is my second time seeing KISS in this country, and it confirmed my opinion that you should see the Hottest Band in the World anywhere on the planet but not in this country.
The venue was awful, a big exhibition hall with the worst acoustics you can imagine. You could hardly see anything either.
But the worst part of it is the Dutch audience, which often behaves like it was not the KISS they came to see, but a soccer game. Completely different from the US, but even Belgium - where people really make you feel you are at a rock and roll party. Here: agressive pushing - and bad timing of choruses of even Rock and Roll all Night! This time I went by car: I did not want to go through the experience again that I had two years ago on the train back home where at some point asshole (wearing the face Paul and Gene on his t-shirt) started to scream: "Kankerjoden eruit!". (Bloody Jews get out!) Others were laughing as if he was funny.
Looking forward to the real thing in Bruxelles soon.
