I would have 3 concerts reviews from the "Psycho Circus" Tour in Europe.

Vienna(Wien)-17.3.99(Stadthalle)

There were about seventousand KISS fans in Vienna. I had the luck to be in the hall with 2 friends(Hannes & Vladimir from KISS Revenge/Russia) 3 hours before the concert. So we also saw the soundcheck and that was pretty cool. All 4 members were unmasked, Gene & Paul in "Revenge-Outfits"!! As KISS started the soundcheck it was a surprise to hear the intro from "Sweet Pain"(20 seconds), then KISS played "Psycho Circus" and Vlad made a photo from KISS on stage and suddenly Paul stopped singing the chorus. The next song was "Into the void" but Ace stopped the song after 2 minutes and then Peter Ace & Paul leaves the stage, Gene still was on stage(nearly 10 minutes!) and he made a lot of bass solos with his guitar, also he played the intro from "Within`".

The evening started with Buck Cherry and the performance was not bad, I like these guys-one of them gave me the blue guitar pick from Ace during the break before KISS were playing. Anyway this day was an excellent day for me- I also got 2 picks from Paul(I was wearing the Paul Stanley Washburn T-Shirt), a metal-plectrum from Ace`s guitar and a rose from Peter!!(I gave it to a girl-the other items I kept for myself). I was in the first row in the middle from the stage.

As the courtain falls down the crowd cries for the first time and when "Pscho Circus" started the crowd gets wild, especially all people on the floor. The highlights on these evening were(songs) - Psycho Circus, Do you love me, Deuce, I was made for lovin`you,God of thunder, Love Gun, Detroit Rock City & Black Diamond.

After Paul was speaking "Vienna do you love me" an "Easter"-rabbit with a picture from Paul was thrown on the stag and since this moment Paul`s performance was so amazing(I never have seen him better!). He kissed the rabbit, put him into his trouser and finally put him on the mikrophone. I think he will give this present to his son because he really was fascinated from this gift. Another big highlight was "I was made..." when Paul was so surprised that the crowd sang the song so loud- he waited nearly a minute after he began to sing(I was made... was the #1 hit in Austria 1979!) When Paul sang "Love Gun" on the other side of the hall he gave his hand to every fan around him! Peter was very good in Vienna only Ace had not his best day.

Finally I must say this was the best show from my concerts I have seen, because of Paul.

I only hope that KISS will cange the setlist for the next tour a lot more than they have done in the past, also KISS only played 19 songs at the european concerts (always the same setlist). I also don`t mind if KISS would play songs like "Crazy Crazy Nights, Tears are falling, Rock Hard, Unholy, God gave Rock`n`Roll to you, Heaven`s on fire, UH! All night, or Sure know something, Charisma, Flaming Youth, Strutter, Tonight you belong to me, I want you,Raise your glasses...") Please Gene choose some other song for "Within`"(I like this song on the album but live this song do not sound very well-especcially at the end when Gene sings I wanna see from within`(a cold shower for my shoulder!).

Prague(Praha)-18.3.99 (Sportshall)

This time I was seating and I was glad to do so, some people in the crowd were drunk and had no discipline. Anyway most of the people were nice(especially the girls) and I think more than twelvetousand fans were in the hall- all exits were filled up with people(where was the organisation in Prague??). Also the security did not pay a lot of attention on tickets and also a lot of people did not get the 3-D glasses.

All effects I have seen in Vienna & Munich were not possible in Prague(Paul & Gene did not fly, Peter`s drumsolo was extremly short) Anyway it was the best performance from Ace I have seen, he also did a short "Jam session" before "Into the void" with Gene & Paul. The best songs in Prague were "Into the void" & "Deuce"- KISS played it a lot faster than in Vienna(Munich). The concert ended 20 minutes earlier than in Vienna.

Paul did not speak a lot with the fans, he only mentioned that his grandfather was born in the Czech Republic(but that must be a long time ago- perhaps so long ago he was born in Germany or Austria/Hungary but it must be true that his grandpa comes from this region- his father was born in Germany but went to the states during the time of the Nazi-regime).

I also noticed at the last song(Black Diamond) that Paul`s Solo was so short that Gene and Ace were so surprised as Paul suddenly started to sing the first lyrics(both were not on the stage!).

All in all this was a good concert(my fourth concert in Prague), has anybody ever seen a bade KISS performance???-I don`t think so.

Munich(München)-19.3.99(Olympiahalle)

This concert was pretty the same as in Vienna so I think no special review is necessary- the only thing I can say that Paul was not so excellent as in Vienna. The Olympiahall was nearly sold out.

I hope that there are not a lot mistakes in my reviews.
