I would like to encourage ALL KISS fans out there to come on out and "welcome to the show." As a fan who has seen KISS about 28 times over the past 20 years, with and without makeup, I can say that I enjoy each and every tour/concert.
On this tour, the 3-D was impressive, as usual KISS is the first to market such a live concert concept. I, as many fans was impressed with the amount of fireworks and confetti. This show uses more fire and fireworks than the 4th of July in Washington, DC. As a longtime fan, I was surprised that KISS scraped all the lasers and material/songs between Dynasty and Psycho Circus. For many years, fans sang "I love it loud," "Forever," I still love you," and "lick it up," however, these are not on this tour just as they were not included on the "Reunion Tour."
Paul and Gene have engineered a concert that included several great songs and have absolutely pulled out all the stops on this tour. I thought I had seen everything that live rock and roll had to offer, then all of a sudden, Paul Stanley is standing on a small stage on the floor in the middle of the arena singing "Love Gun" within the grasp of several thousand loyal fans. Every concert ends with a bang but this one really leaves with a very, very big BANG!! A good time was had by all who attended, both on stage and off. I would easily pay to see them again on this tour. This concert had a calmer, more clean, family approval atmosphere to it. Paul saying "don't drink and drive" and no more of those sexy stories before "Love gun," not that I minded of course. I saw several children and some fans in their sixties at the show.
