"All right Saratoga Springs, You wanted the best,You got the best, the hottest band
in the world..KISS!" The curtin fell. KISS, coming down from the ceiling on a platform.
The beginning of 'Detroit Rock City' hums over the crowd. Then 'BOOM!', the hottest
band in the world reveals its self. Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Peter Criss and Ace
Frehley enthralled the audience with staged antickes that blew away everybody. Paul
Stanley, The Starbearer, flew over the crowd on a pulley system that got everybody off
their feet jumping and pumping their fists in the air. Gene Simmons, The Demon, bass solo. Cringing sounds came out of 'The Punisher' and blood was spewing out of Simmons mouth. The
..GENE! GENE! GENE! GENE!.. The bat flys!!on to a platform approx. 25ft high. 'God of Thunder'
plays and the audience is stunned. Fists were pumping and mouths were open. Peter Criss, The
Beast King and drummer extrodinaire, the levitating drum kit shocked and enthralled the audience
The Cat's drum solo was unforgetable. The pound of the drums, the crash of the cymbols, and the
feeling of Peter Criss through the crowd. Ace Frehley, The Celestial, and his rocket charged
flaming guitar mesmorized the audience. Smoking and on fire, Ace shot a rocket and blew up
a balloon on the far stage. The guitar solo was excellent. The fast paced fingers
and shrilling sounds of the Les Paul boiled the crowd. On my opinion, KISS is the
greatest rock band thatever lived and ever will be. They are legends. Even though its the
Farwell Tour, it is nothing to be sad about. KISS is about magic, fantasy, and rock and roll.
KISS will last forever and their music will never die. I am 14 years old and this was my first
KISS concert and the last. I made the best of it and I hope YOU do to. I am a member of the
KISSARMY and I always will be til the day I die.
