Anchorage rocked Monday night as KISS electrified the wave of captivated fans.
The Sullivan arena was filled to capacity, as cold winter snowstorm did not turn
back the harden Alaskan fans. Swiftly the frozen skin from the sub freezing
temperatures outside was set on fire, as KISS set stage with columns of fire and
pyrotechnics show like none ever seen in Alaska. Their music reverberated through
the bodies everyone present as the Sullivan arena shook, setting off seismographs
with magnitudes greater than 10.0 on the Richter scale. Even before the start, the
restless crowd cheered with the anticipated appearance of these icons. Anchorage
was electrified with non-stop Rock & Roll and a stage show unlike their eyes have
ever behold. Paul Stanley could not keep from expressing his delight in seeing one
of Anchorage's original indigenous resident, the moose. This multi-generation
audience was consumed with the show, to the extent of actually being part of the
show, being pulled in as Gene projected an aura to the audience that they in turned
reflected back. A oneness as they completed a circle between KISS and those in
their presence.
KISS didn't leave Anchorage but left part of themselves behind, in the memories of
the exuberant show.
