KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Ed Daniel
What can I say,It was KISS.My wife and I drove from Elkmont,Alabama to Atlanta for the show.First,I must say thanks to my wife, this was her first concert since Elvis. She handled it like a trooper.Skid Row was good for an opener and Ted Nugent was awesome. It was an Honor to see him and Tommy Aldridge.Kiss, was and always will be the best. This was my 4th time to see Gene and Paul{Creatures and Animalize Tours}.I saw the reuion tour in 96 with Ace and Peter. The show went smooth for my taste.I think Gene had to look around for Ace a few times. It looked like Ace was giving the sound crew hell to get his volume right. When it came to Shock Me,I was dissapointed at first but I got over it.Ace flubbed the words at the beginning and Paul stepped up to sing some of it,but Ace's playing made up for it.He's human and not perfect. It was a real honor to hear Peter's drumming again.Eric Carr {RIP} was great but as for as I'm concerned Peter is the true drummer behind Kiss.Paul was still the showman he's always been.I loved hearing I Still Love You before Black Dimond. As for Gene,he will always be the GOD OF THUNDER.I want to say THANK YOU to Ace,Gene,Peter and Paul for all the great music and memorys over the years.it has been an honor and a privilege to be a KISS fan.
