KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Michael Porter
wow!!! what a nite to remember the greatest rock band in history. i will not bore anyone with a run down of the setlist, it's well known by now. just a few comments.

first, skid row is geting a undeserved bashing. the new guy is not bach, but he can sings very well.this band sounds very tight and very loud.i was impressed.

ted, what can be said about ted??? he and his band played a good set. tommy aldridge was totally awesome banging those drums. ted's guitar playing was very good, he is really underrated.

KISS:totally awesome!!, the stage is huge and lined with amps.i thought the kiss sounded very tight.in fact, the sounded better than i have ever heard them before.

no real miscues. gene and paul both flew with no problems. paul vocals were the best. gene was the demon, ace played very well, he is the best guitar kiss could ever have. peter was solid on drums, not flashy, but he gets the job done. ace's solo was a little confusing with the theme from 2001 and he didn't let his guitar fly away.

the guys seemed to be having a good time with each other.if you can see these guys go!!! it is well worth the money. i just can't believe a band this good is calling it quits. i wish the guys all the best. kiss i will never forget you.
