I have to say that even though I wasn't a member of the KISS Army growing up, I feel I am now. I took my husband to see KISS in Charlotte, NC and then again the next day in Greenville, SC because he's been a die-hard fan for over 20 years and had never seen them in make up and with all the original members. The look on his face when they hit the stage was pure happiness. He lit up like a bonfire and stayed that way through the entire show. Now, I've listened to KISS through the years and have always liked them but my husband exposed me to the rest of their music during the last 10 years and I've grown to like them more and more and have great respect for how they have handled their careers. I have to say, that's the most fun I have ever had at a concert and hated to see it end. The entire show felt like a heartfelt goodbye from them to us and I felt that they have real gratitude to their fans. It's nice to see a group with such fame and money humbly give the credit to the people who helped make them. To anyone who expected more, the only other thing they could have done was come out and shake the hand of everyone in the arena at the end of the show. But that's what it felt like they did, in a manner of speaking. The videography summed up their career before our eyes while they continued to play the songs we love. Sparks and confetti aside, they did a great job considering they're my parents age and there's NO WAY my parents could do that every night or even one for that matter! Don't expect more than what you get and appreciate the fact that they are giving everyone another chance to see them before they stop. They have given so many people entertainment and joy and sometimes inspiration and now it's our turn to give them the rest of their lives to live how they want. That's the best "Thank You" we can give. Go to the closest show and have a blast!
