I had already seen this tour in Birmingham and Louisville so I knew what to
expect but it didn't matter. I have never been to a KISS concert that I left
dissapointed and tonight was no exception! The setlist was the same as everywhere
else. During Ted Nugent, the Jumbotron on the right side of the stage broke loose
because it was raining and windy but they had it tied back down before Kiss came on.
KISS came on and they were their usual selves which means they were great! Paul
Stanley is the coolest human being on earth. Ace had to bang on his guitar once to
get it to come on and during Black Diamond one of the cats didn't have smoke coming
out of it's mouth but that was the only two glitches of the night. Since it was an
amphitheatre, Gene only flew up about 20 feet because of the low ceiling, but
Paul still flew to the center of the crowd which is my favorite part of the show.
He couldn't have been more than 3 feet over my head! I thought I might get a little
misty-eyed because I'm pretty sure this is my last KISS concert but instead I just
stood back and enjoyed the last 3 songs.I did get a Paul pick at my last show so
that was cool. I also got on the Jumbotron behind Peter during I Love It Loud so
if anyone has a bootleg of this show, e-mail me at btirey@msn.com . What a way to
go out! I'm still holding out hope that they will be back with Bruce and Eric some
day and this was not my last concert! We'll see. Thank you Kiss for so many
concert memories over the years. I'll never forget you! Oh, one more thing, a
message to my 11 year old son Nick: No you can't have my Paul Stanley pick!!!!!!!!
