My Story is not so much about the concert but what happened at the show and the reaction from Mr. Simmons. My Girl friend and I arrived at the concert looking for our seats when a female in a uniform with a walkie talkie came up to us talking in to her microphone pointing to us saying "Is this the one, the blonde? This is the last ticket left." She came up to us and handed a ticket to my girl friend Mercy and said that she was instructed to give this to her from Gene and she was to sit up front. We didn't relize she was talking about the Demon when she said Gene. Mercy replied Gene who and the woman said Mr. Simmons and that she was his special guest and she was to sit up front. Mercy doesn't really care for Kiss and was only there for my amusement but she became excited and said we get to go up front. The woman quickly corrected her and said you don't understand the seat is only for you. Mercy quickly told the woman that she was not going to sit up their without me and the woman said "well you might go up for a few songs and give the ticket to your boy friend and he can go up for a few songs" then she walked away after giving me two Paul Stanley Pics. I didn't know whether to be glad she gave me the pics or be insulted. After Ted had finshed his set the woman came to us and asked Mercy to go up to the seat. She and I went over the possibilities but she was not willing to go unless I went up and swithced with her after a few songs. So she went up after I conviced her it would be ok and not feel bad for me, knowing I was a avid Kiss fan from way back. She sat up there watching the show and her face was constantly on the big screen as Gene was constanly lookinng at her and Spitting pics at her and shaking his over sized 50 year old hips at her thinking he was being provocative. Ace came over to her and handed her a pic which was quite an Improvement from Gene who chose to spit them at her. after about six songs she came back to me and told me to go up but I could not after seeing how much fun she was having. At the moment she started to walk back to me Gene Began pointing to her and clapping his hands(obviously a sign to bring her back up there). She went back up after I told her to go back up and get me some more pics. She sat up there and Didn't come back for awhile and I noticed she was no longer in the seat. when she did come back she told me she was escorted back stage to Gene's makeup desk. She said she walked by Skid Row and Ted who was Talking up Storm to the others, Ted smiled but seemed off in his own world. She said Peter came into the room and greeted her and smiled at her. When the Demon came into the room everyone became quite except for uncle Ted who kept up with his Story. Peter turned away whithout saying a word and left the room. Gene Walked right up to her and dripping of blood and Sweat asked her what her name was and she said Mercy. Gene told her he wanted her to go to Cleveland with him on the bus. She replied she had a family and he told her they would wait for her. She said she wanted to get his autograph for me and he said he wanted her phone number in a very demanding and rude way. she said he tried to hug her and she stuck out her hand and he shook it with a frustrating look in his face. The tour manager which she described as a short balding man came into the room trying to convince her to get on the bus when gene ripped a piece of paper from his hand and scribbled on the paper and handed to her. She thought the paper would have his Signiture but instead said "I want your Phone Number Mercy." She gave him her number at the salon she works at and he Signed his name to the paper and was beginnig to get distgusted with her. he told her rethink her descision and go to cleveland with him and left the room. she was escored back to me and told me what had happened. I asked her when She was in the room by his desk by herself what did she take for me she said nothin there was a severed finger in a bag saying to keep ypur fingers out of his things. I became slightly upset but was glad she reacted the way she did (I would have walked out with everything that was not bolted down). She said she felt cheap knowing people were watching her on the big screen knowing what he had in his mind. Mercy did not think much of the 50 year old wig wearing over weight and mostly rude Demon and only did it to get somthing for me.I'm proud to have woman who holds morales above being star struck. She said I did like the silver guy and the cat guy they were very nice to me. I have a very different opinion of Mr. Simmons and Kiss now. I was dissapointed he was spending so much time in the show trying to get laid instead of concentrating on the show that he said was all about the fans. Paul said if you go to a concert and the band does not give you everything they could they're not doing you any favors. well maybe gene needs to listen to his friends advi! ce. Paris Still a Fan
