KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Terri Bey
Traveling through Texas is exhausting but , hey, I do it for my boys. The day before the show, I spent an extra day in San Antonio ( didn't have tix for Houston) and walked between these two Marriots, one a Marriot Rivercenter, and the other a Marriott Riverwalk. Well, to make a long story short, coming out of one of them, was Ted Nugent , and I got to meet him and chat with him. He was very nice and gave me four pics. Tommy Aldrige, the drummer came down and Ted introduced me to him and the three of us had our picture taken. ANYWAY, back to the Dallas KISS show, before the show, I run into some friends who had t get some pass issues straightened out and I got to see the buses backstage. I go to my seat and I unfortunately miss Skid Row and Nugent. Part of the reason was because I was hanging around the backstage door. IT was so cool just getting a peek, everytime the door was opened. I admit to seeing parts of the openers.

Anyway, KISS comes on and did a pretty good job. There were some loose spots, but over all a good show. Gene was doing his prowling and Paul was getting after this gal to take off her shirt. Peter did a pretty decent job. Ace did a cool solo and a pretty good job, a little rough at times. but I enjoyed his playing. I just stood there in amazement at times. I got another pick from him as well.

Don't miss this tour.
