SO much has been already written about the set lists,lack of this,lack of that,no one having fun,drummer not hitting hard,same old same,etc. I won't review what's already been said...what I will review is what I saw in these guy's eyes in Dallas on Sunday night. This is the "pinnacle" for KISS as far as shows go. I honestly believe I have seen the best show they have ever given...from my standpoint. I know now why they want to retire...guys...this is the top...I really mean it. I could really see it in their eyes...they are so "in the moment" at these shows...aww...who cares if YOU didn't hear your favorite song...or if a note was flat here or there...who are we to criticize the band who has given us so much and who has withstood the test of time...and critcs!!! This was truly a "fan's show".....it is all they talked about all night...over and over....us...the fans. I was fighting back tears so many times...it was chilling to think that a band...a phenomenon like this! could mean so much to me and so many others. I got caught up in the emotion of looking around at the comraderie of the fans there...the KISS Army...knowing none of this will happen again. Guys....savor it...enjoy it...don't whine...be thankful you have been given an opportunity to see them for the last time. They are playing longer than I have ever seen them...well over two hours...and they are "NOT" just going through the motions either...they are delivering the "pinnacle"...I honestly mean it. I think the comment that got me the most was when Paul was talking about fans coming back to see bands in the future...he said.."If you come back here and pay your hard earned money to see a band and they don't give you what you deserve...you let 'em know that at "one time" there was a band that gave it all back to you...the fans. That comment to me carries more weight than anything else that happened on this night...For you guys that haven't seen this show...remember all these things! ....the little moments...watch there eyes...celebrate...
