First off let me get the basics out of the way.....SKID ROW ---- YAWN!!! 30 extra min. to get that great program or t-shirt. now on to the main stuff!!

UNCLE TED: What a treat boys and girls to see the Motor City Madman in his hometown!! He came out on stage on a live Water Buffelo!!!! VERY COOL!!!! The SOLD OUT crowd was very into Ted and he was very into them!! He said at one point he was 51 years clean and sober and proud of it!! Then it was pure Ted. He said he had to do the Motown Theme song for his homeboys in the front rows and he said when he was thru even the fags would eat pussy tonight!! He then broke into Cat Scratch Fever to a loud roar!! And the Kiss my Ass song...very cool. After the encoure and Bow shooting, he came back once again and did a special treat for the Michigan fans by singing Fred Bear. WE WERE ALL READY FOR KISS NOW!!!

KISS: My GOD people!! This is the ONLY town anywhere to see this band!! They came out to Detroit Rock City and the crowd was on their feet!! After a BIG BIG roar Paul just looked at the crowd and said: People!! We have played many cites in America and all around the world but I only wrote a song about one of them!! This Band peaked tonight!! They were all feeding off this huge crowd!! ACE was awsome...No screw ups at all!!The only song I thought sounded a little bad was Psycho Circus....but hearing Gene do God of Thunder and Cold Gin back to back made up for it!! I was 18 rows up from the floor and the sight of Paul in the middle of that crowd doing Love Gun was a sight to behold...I will never forget it!! And then Black Diamond...Peter sounded great!! The lights went down and then Peter came out throwing Roses and sits down and lloks at the crowd and says...wow Detroit...you rock!! And then the best Beth I have EVER heard!! Then the band came back out and Paul steeped up to the mike and said: Detroit!! back in 1973 when we were an opening act the critics said no one would listen...but you people proved them wrong!! And when we took the make-up off in the 83..they said that was it..no one would listen...Detroit! You proved them wrong! And in 96 when we got the orginal line-up back together on final time they said Reuinion Tour? No one will come...well Detroit You just proved them wrong again!! Thank You for 27 years..I will NEVER forget you...and people...never forget US!! And remember..I only wrote a song about ONE city!! And then...Rock andf Roll All Night!! A great finish to a great night! This was flat out the BEST Kiss performace I have seen!! I hope that thay can produce the same energy for the Detroit crowd tomorrow night!!
