MY OWN DETROIT ROCK CITY:
First off let me start by saying I've been a KISS fan for 18 years now and I'm only 22!!! Now here is to my story, I was coming out from Victoria, B.C for this show, I couldn't wait, like everyone else for this show, I was off work at 9:30 a.m that morning, and took a cab to the Port Angeles ferry, I got to Port Angeles at 12:15p.m, only to find out the last bus to Seattle already left at 11:15, so now I'm stuck in this little port only 6 hours to the show and I was still 4 hours away...after 2.5 hours of hitchhiking, someone FINALLY picked me up and drove me to the bremerton ferry to Seattle, time is now 5;30 and i'm in Seattle, still 2 hours away from the Gorge, oh yeah, the night before this I had fallen into a bonfire at the beach while sleeping, so my hands are bandaged up and I'm dying of the pain, but I wasn't about to let anything stop me from seeing KISS one more time, so I paid $40 to a cab to drive me to an off ramp to I90 to Spokane so I could hitch another ride......no one came and at 8:00p.m I packed it in, realizing even if the next car picked me up, I still miss KISS....this was more painful than the second degree burns on my hands I sustained only 24 hours earlier, so I jumped on a greyhound and headed back home to Victoria.
KISS, please come back to either Vancouver or Seattle one more time. I want to say thank you to KISS for everything the last 19 years, you guys are the best and have been such a player in my life, I'm sorry I missed the show, but I'm in the Army for life, KISS is my life it's everything I am, I can't express how much KISS means to me in my heart and soul, and I'd give anything for one more KISS show...I love you guys.
And to the KISS Army.....thanks for helping me support the greatest band in the world, we are one!!!! Let's keep it ALIVE! Enjoy the shows!!!
P.S I just bought a KISS Love Gun lunch box!!!! KISS 4ever..
