KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Kissdee
This was THE BEST concert I have ever been to, and I've been to a few. My only regrets are that I didn't have another camera for more pics. and that this more than likely was my last KISS show. My first Highlight of the show was that my boyfriend's brother came all the way from Fargo N.D. to see it with us. It was his second KISS concert in just over a week. J. and I went in face makeup, he wore ACE's and I wore Eric Carr's. I was fortunate enough to be in the 3rd row for the concert. I missed Skid Row(I was getting my t-shirt), but I made it down in time to see Uncle Ted. Ted put's on a good show if you can get past his very loud oppinions. I was on my feet from the time he came on until the time KISS finished. Behind me there was a little boy,and because I wasn't in it, he stood on my chair. I thought that it was cool to see him and that he was able to see the greatest band and show on earth. Every once in a while I turned to see how he was doing and the look of awe on his face said it all! As I was getting my lighter out before Black Diamond, I looked up at the hill, and the sight that met me is almost undescribable. All I saw were thousands of flickering lights. It was cool beyond words! If you are an emotional person it would have brought tears to your eyes! I also managed to catch one of ACE'S signed picks, that rocked! The boys were full of energy, and the music and show were awsome! The one mishap that I saw was when Gene was being raised to a platform up in the lights for GOD OF THUNDER, he almost hit his head on the bottom of it. It looked like whomever was raising him did it to fast. But he recovered, and did an awsome job on the song! It looked like the boys were having a blast doing their stuff, from Paul taking his shirt off, to Gene drooling blood, to Ace's 2000 Man, to Peter's singing Beth(even though the music was pretaped). They know how to please a crowd and to let you know that they are there for you and not the other way around!

I don't consider it a good concert if you can't talk for a while afterwards. I was lucky to say anything for the next few days without squeeking. And a week later, I am still having miner problems with my hearing. All in all, it was one of the best nights of my life, and not to much will come close to topping it! KISS lives forever in my heart!
