This was my 4th show since the reunion and I must admit they are a little slower on stage but all four guys sounded awesome. In fact the sound from our seats was crystal clear.Van Andel Arena has great accustics. On to the reviews. SKID ROW, These guys really put everything they had into their 30 minute show and they sounded good although I am not a big fan of BUTT METAL. KISS should have left them off the bill. They just don't fit in.

TED NUGENT, Being a MIchigan native I must give the man the respect he deserves, although my wife and 11 year old son were a little surprised with his dialog on stage. His band is super tight and Tommy Aldridge was a pure joy to watch as he pounded the skins. One thing, Teds vocals were weak only because he was wearing a wireless mic. It did not sound good and it looks silly on Teds face. He should be pounding the mic into his chest like he used to.

KISS,The best I've ever heard them sound. PAUL's vocals were perfect and his performance was great. He truly is the rock-n-roll front man we all dream of being. GENE was in top form. He is the demon we all run from in our nightmares. "He is so awesome" says my son. When he does his solo he truly becomes something not of this world. PETER sounded good but he does show signs of age, but he can still hold his own as well as anyone his age. Peter had surgery on his arms last year and he still bangs the skins flawlessly.

ACE WAS AWESOME. Many reports say he has been drinking. Wrong. Ace is the Space Man and acts that way on stage. He did not miss a lick, I was paying close attention to every note and he was nearly flawless. KISS has had other lead guitarists but ACE can not be replaced, he truly is the sound behind all great KISS songs. I will miss him the most when it is all over, and it will be over soon. GO SEE THIS SHOW. You will not be disapointed.
