Skid Row-Don't waste your time with them unless you really are a fan.
Very Loud and distorted. Played to about 1500 people. Everyone eles
was buying shirts or still outside waiting for the real deal.
Ted Nugent- Ted was a big hit with the Greensboro crowd. He had on a confederate flag shirt and made several references to it. His profanity was quite overboard and it made me feel uneasy as there were a lot of young kids there with parents. I would have loved for my daughters to have seen Kiss but did not take them because of the reviews about Ted. Music was very energetic and this three piece unit Rocked!
Kiss- They were too Cool! Best show I have seen and I have seen around 15 shows starting in 1974. Everything was first class and the lights and special effects were the best. Everything worked tonight except one flashpot went out about half way through the show and some of the lights on the Kiss signs were out. Crowd was excellent and the place was packed. Same set list as before. Ace did do his guitar riffs during his solo. Peter played with a lot of heart and smiled a lot. Paul was in excellent voice and played to the crowd as only he can. Really felt like he was sincere when he thanked the crowd for all of the years of suppport. Gene was in fine form and really worked the crowd. Lots of bras and lots of female breast on the video screen. The music was maybe a little too loud but the boy's were tight and I did not notice any huge mistakes. This is a must see show. I will also be going to the show in Roanoke, VA. on May 3 and will give my review of that show also. Thanks to Kiss for making my life more fun and enjoyable. I will never forget you!
