KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Tom Wells
My wife and I took in the show at Copps Colesium in Hamilton. Ted Nugent was not on the bill.

Skid Row were very loud and very heavy. They played for about an hour and did a great job pumpling up the crowd for what was to follow.

Kiss came on around 9:00 and played for a full 2 1/2 hours from start to finish, and put on quite a show. This was my third time seeing the band (the first two during the reunion tour) and was my wife's first time seeing the show. It is always an incredible experience to watch the KISS spectacle in action.

The set list was the same as the other shows, with the exception of the addition of I Was Made for Loving You was inserted between Beth abd RARAN. I could not help but be thouroughly impressed with the musicianship of the boys on this night. Ace nailed every solo, Gene was his usual self, and Paul, what more can you say about Paul. He is the best front man in all of Rock.

While Peter does not have the same flare and power that he once had, he still was the backbone of the rhythm section and played very efficently and solid. He had a great time.

An awesome concert, and a fitting way to end what will probably be their last date ever in Canada.

This concert is must see for anyone with a pulse.
