KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Kandon Kane
11th show of the tour and still loving it. with this being my hometown, and myself a devoted army member, there was only one place where i was going to be. FRONT ROW! thankfully my friend is one of the biggest ticket "brokers" in the area so kudos to JUMBO.

with this being the final show in indy i could not help but feel a little depressed. being happy and depressed at the same time brings a really wierd feeling. anyway the show was great - skid row was great and "uncle" ted rocked like usual ( i think this was his last stop on the tour). then came the boys. sounding great as usual, and thats something to say for the acoustics in the fieldhouse arent for SHIT (LONG LIVE MSA!!).

i knew going in to this show that this is probably the last time Kiss would grace the stage in Indy, so i was taking it all in. I held it in all the way from "wont get fooled again" until they started that damn movie during "do you love me." that i was it, i was in tears. and believe me i not that all that emotional but thinking back when i was a kid putting on my ace frehley boots (they were actually my moms high heel sparkley silver boots) and make up, i just could help but feel what joy this band has given me and now the pain that they are going away.

it was a defining night it my life. hopefully they will tour again, and personally i think they will (gene LIVES for the road), but if they dont ill always have the memories of being in the first row for the last kiss show in Indianapolis , IN.
