The show began at 6:30,this is my 5th show of the tour and all the others started at 7:oo.This was my hometown show being from MD.Skid Row,30 mins. did a solid set of the songs you remember.Ted Nugent is a character and very confident and outspoken about what he believes.55 mins.,did Cat Scratch Fever,Stranglehold,Free For All,and others.He had a fox tail on and matching zebra skin shirt and shoes.Some comments he made:If you can't speak English get the f**k out of America!Several political people were horrors or pieces of shit.Charleton Heston is my president he said.Final song Great White Buffalo,he comes back with a native American headress on and a shirt with a confederate flag.Then shoots a bow and arrow into the back of his guitar which sets off a pyro explosion.Kiss played 2hrs. 10 mins.Once the curtain dropped with the big silver Kiss logo the crowd knew the start was near.Then the famous YWTBYGTBest intro.Detroit Rock City begins as Gene,Paul,Ace descend from the ceiling on a platform with Peter on another platform being lowered.Pyro shoots on both sides of the stage.Deuce,Shout It Out Loud, I Love It Loud,Shock Me,Firehouse,Calling Dr. Love,2000 Man, God Of Thunder,etc...encores Beth and Rock and Roll All Night.20 Kiss classics.I was 9 rows from the stage just a little left of center.New editions to the set Heaven's On Fire,Lick It Up,I Love It Loud which went over big with the sing along section.Psycho Circus sounded great.A cool video of old footage was on the screen during Do You Love Me.At the final verse of God Of Thunder the screen showed Gene inverted,black face with white eyes and hair-like the back of Dressed To Kill. Kiss Immortals was on the video screen during 2000 Man.It was high energy in the crowd and on the stage.17,000+ members of the army!All the effects were on:Ace's smoking guitar and shooting rockets,which when hit had a twirling pyro burst and sparkly confetti fall.And later the circular pyro at the end of his guitar.Gene's fire-breathing, blood spitting,flying to the top rafters.Paul flying above the crowd to the sound board.Peter rising during Black Diamond with his double cat drape,eyes lit up,smoke belching out of it's mouths.Paul smashed a guitar at the end.On the final song, RARAN,Gene and Ace both elevated on separate platforms and smoke poured from the platforms,I didn't see that before.Bottom line-this truly is the greatest show on earth and there will never be another band as exciting and entertaining as Kiss.The best songs,the biggest stage show,the coolest look and image.The pyro was all different colors and fire flames were cool.Confetti flowed through the whole last song.Paul mention! ed other places in the area they had played over the years. Anyway,for a die-hard like me,this will be a major life adjustment-no Kiss shows to look forward to.See you at the Garden.Kiss rules forever.
