What can I say? KISS have always been the masters at what they do, and this night was certainly no exception. I loved the intro to the show, which saw all 4 members descending to the stage on their own platforms. As soon as I heard the opening chords to Detroit Rock City I knew that I was in for the show of my life. And KISS definitely proved me right!!! The guys were in top form, tight as hell with their music, and their vocals were nothing but top notch. Paul was flamboyant as usual, while Gene was his usual, dark self. While Peter seemed like he was having a great time, and laughing at every opportunity. Ace was in rare form this night, he was smiling and cutting up with the rest of the band. The performance was flawless from top to bottom, definitely one of the best KISS shows I have ever witnessed. They pulled off Heaven's on Fire without a hitch. I Love It Loud sounded phenomenal, Gene was right on time with the vocals, and the band played it like a charm. Lick It Up sounded fantastic as well. The highlight of the show for me was when Peter was performing Beth. I had brought my lady Gina with me to the show, and she's not a huge KISS fan to begin with. But when the familiar piano notes of Beth rang out throughthe hall, her eyes just lit up, and she threw her arms around me, and we swayed back and forth enjoying the moment. The finale was nothing short of astounding.Rock and Roll All Nite never sounded better as it did on this night. The confetti and streamers were a plenty as KISS stormed their way through the final encore. You couldn't even see the stage for all the confetti flying around. The fireworks display at the end was the best I had ever seen from KISS. They certainly know how to give their fans their money's worth. Thank you KISS for a very special night. You have been, and always will be, the kings of rock and roll, and allowed me to share a very special moment with my lady. You guys RULE!!!
