I was so excited pulling up to the civic auditorium in omaha. i promoted this concert to my family, friends, co-workers, etc. i ended up bringing my 55 year old father, my 42 year old uncle, both of my older brothers, and a friend of mine (who later accidentally got removed from the show 2 minutes after kiss went on stage).

at 7:00 on the nose, skid row went on stage. these guys kicked some royal ass sabastian or not!! from beginning to end, it sounded like the old skid row i knew.

at 8:00 ted nugent took the stage! i thought this guy was going to play his guitar until his arms and fingers both fell off! for a trio, these guys made a lot of noise!! he (ted) really knows how to get the crowd into it! my favorite part of this point in the show was when ted shot his bow and arrow and hitting his guitar!!

at 9:20 kiss took the stage. the place went fucking psycho!! paul was singing his lungs out, gene was sticking out that long tongue, ace was jamming on that smokin' guitar, and peter beat the shit out of his drums!! throughout the concert, kiss made a point that they appreciated the fans making their dreams come true!! this made me feel great as i'm sure it did a lot of people. kiss really showed their class here. i attended the reunion tour, the psycho circus tour, and this farewell tour, and i've got to say this show was visually their best show. musically kiss was at the top of their game this night and i will never fucking forget it! my favorite part of this show was when ace performed "2000 man". the large screen on stage showed the "kiss immortals". this was just awesome!!

at the end of the show, i was kind of sad that i was never going to see this band perform live again, but like the old saying goes: every good thing has to come to an end!!

thanks again kiss for all of the music and memories you've given my life. i will never forget you as long as i live!!
