KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Rob Ramsay
I thought I better send it again, because the first time was all in caps, sorry. I spoke to Paul and Gene on the radio the day before the concert and asked Paul if he was going to play "Shandi" in his solo, knowing full well that he had not planned to do it. He asked me if I would like that which of course I replied that would be great and then he said that he was my servent and he will obey. I honestly didn't think he was going to do it due to the fact, that they alreadly had their setlist and I couldn't expect them to change it for one person, boy was I wrong. Half way through his solo, he stopped and said "Hang on, I was talking to some guy on the radio last night and he asked me to do a special song for him, so I'm going to do that special song for you right now". He changed guitars and then started playing the most awesome version I have ever heard of that song. It was one of the greatest moments of my life. As for the show itself, it was totally unbelieveable. Every song was fantastic. One of the great highlights was Eric's drum solo, man can he play. It was awesome to hear song like "I love it loud" and "Heaven's on fire" live. They are greatest band ever and it was so depressing knowing that we will never see them again. Thanks for all the great memories and we will never forget you. You are the greatest.
