Thanks to Kiss Asylum's review page for allowing us to know the setlist in advance. We printed the sheet and followed along as the 2:15 Kiss set went on. Quebec City is a forgotten town for concerts. Therefore, everyone and their 3rd cousin came to this show. Quebec City is much more French than English and it was clear that many cues from Paul for reaction flew over their heads. Paul spoke a few phrases in French (he also speaks Spanish -- I know from seeing them in Barcelona in a room about the size of your high school gym). The show opener was Skid Row Regardless of age, they moved all over the stage. Ted Nugent wasn't included for this show. Skid Row's singer's voice was more long range since I saw them in Montreal. "You wanted the best, you got the best" beamed over the p.a. and we were pumped. The show was great but there was no interaction with the crowd at all. The front row women weren't too appealing and I think it made a difference. The kisstory video during "Do you love me?" was so tear-jerking. I could only watch their video during that scene. It would be great to have that at home. We drove home from the concert at midnight and it took 5 hours. We love kiss! When Ace shot the confetti condom, a light fixture fell on the stage instead of just hanging as planned. Someone could have been killed my mother said!
