Hello again fans. Well, this was show #4 and let's get to the details.
Same Skid and Ted observations as before. KISS played for about 2 hours and 15 minutes. The setlist was the same as the last 2 months or so. That was a bummer; you'd think that something would have changed by now. The guys seemed very into the show and the women. Paul got distracted several times which was very funny. Peter was very into it including the 80's material, you hear that people, he was visual enjoying playing those songs. You know, I am sick and tired about hearing how it is a slap in the face for Pete and Ace to have to play those. If it weren't for the non-makeup era, I don't think that the reunion and farewell tours would be as big as they are. Thanks to that era, a whole new generation was turned on to KISS and longed to see what the legendary makeup group was like live. So, lay off dissing the non-makeup era. I saw KISS in 1979 for the first time, so I have been thriugh every phase of their existence. Anyway, back to the show. One mess-up occured when Ace got lost at the end of 2000 man and Paul helped him find his way back. During ColdGin, Gene actually missed licking Ace's neck and caught him on the nose. Ace ducked down on his next attempt. Very funny moment. The show was very enjoyable without any changes, but I wish that they would have done something different. The crowd was awesome! I expected to see more pyro because of it being outdoors, but there was not. Still, the guys put on an awesome show! By the way, for those who say that they are showing their ages. How many other 50+ year old guys do you know who could do what they do? True, they are not as energized as sat the Destroyer or Lovegun tours, but you cannot tell me of another artist who can do what they do. Stones:NO, The Who:NO, The Eagles:NO! I rest my case! See ya' at the Garden.
