Another "Ultimate Concert Experience" - a KISS concert !!! There is NOTHING else like it. Which reminds me of something my two boys (ages 5 &6) tell me when they want to hear some KISS cd's or videos - "Dad play some KISS.....Don't play any music....just play some KISS". Every other c.d. I have is "just music" - in there eyes nothing else comes close to "THE GODS OF ROCK".

The same could be said this night with Skid Row and Ted Nugent-they were "just music" - sure they entertained and did their thing but they were just there to "warm up" the 22,oo+ that were in attendance.

The KISS Army was out in full force. Some were decked out in full KISS gear. Others were in make-up and most of the other soldiers were wearing t-shirts. The show starter was just AMAZING - the decend from the top of the lighting rig - and the first three tunes just got everybody up on their feet !!!

The set list was "typical" KISS and it just ROCKED !!!! There may have been a few "clunkers" here and there but the pyro and the lights made up for that. This was my first KISS show with floor seats and the view was just amazing !!! I was able to convince a couple of KISS "rookies" to go with me to the show - they could not get enough of KISS.

This "Farewell" show did bring some mixed emotions for me (I have been a fan since 1975) but the memories and the merchandise will keep me going !!!! This show was meant for all the longtime KISS fans and for the "first timers" like :

A "special" HELLO to Hector A. & Mathew A. (luv ya guys - I know you were there in spirit. Thanks Yvonne - if you want more deteils about the show just ASK !!! Thanks for putting up with my KISS madness !! You can play with my "LOVE GUN" anytime !!! JUST KIDDING. Gotta go now it's time to play KISS for my boys - NOT MUSIC - only what REALLY matters KISS !!!
